Have arrived safely at Haus Mitt and begun an epic battle with jetlag, which should hopefully be largely over by the end of the week. Am back in the room with all my stuff. Classes start today, and I'm sitting on my bed here at the crack of dawn - literally, the sun is coming up behind me as I write - enjoying the fact that although I'm wide awake, I have another four hours before I have to do anything intelligent. Anyway, I've been rather zombicious these last few days, and am afraid it's going to take a longer time for me to readjust than it has in the past, but we shall see.

Moving in is going okayish. I managed to get myself some nice blisters on my hands from using a wrench to get the bolts out of our bunk bed, which we have rearranged into a most entertaining sort of L-shape. Consequently, I now sleep in what Amanda has termed a "sardine can," with my legs under the head of her bed. It's quite cool.

Today, my to-do list includes the following:

- practice my violin, for at least two hours total
- sign up for piano lessons and orchestra
- pick up packages from post office
- go for a bike ride
- attend hydrology class
- attend CS lecture

...along with doing any incidental homework in either of those classes, of which I doubt there will be much, if any. Maybe some reading in both of them, but probably nothing else.

Anyway, I had a request for a photo of Reva-bíla-car with people in it. Unfortunately, I don't have such photos, though my brother does and I may ask him to send them to me. However, here is the next-best thing: my family with the car.

On that note, I think I'll go and start the day.
