Pools, Long Talks, and Violin Lessons

I'm back everyone! I have finally decided to permanently call off my friendship with Vanessa...it was bad for both of us. I have decided to move on with my life, and enjoy it as it is.

Today, was pretty typical. I woke up and skipped breakfast, as normal, and went to go IM some people. None of my close friends were online, so I was just "Around" for a little bit, listening to music, calling people, just plain lounging around. My Mom took off the week, so she suggested that we go to the pool. We were the only ones there for 2 hours! When we left, a family of 8 kids was coming in. Figures. The pool was like an ice berg, and it was nearly 30 degrees! My brother lured me in, however, and we spashed around a little bit.

After the pool, I went home and played for a little longer on my computer, chatting with Hannah. After my IM session, I had a violin lesson. That was pretty fun. We learned some tricky and challenging stuff I had never played before-it was intriguing! Although one thing is for certain-I SUCK at the new stuff. Not just good with the clickidy thingy, that's all. Anyhow, after the violin lesson, my Mom brought home potato salad and chicken with lemonade-yum!

After dinner, I found out my placement for CCD. I am crushed. My best friend got a different teacher-and I got "The Dictator" for the 2ND YEAR IN A ROW!!! GAH!!! Taylor called me back, and I might sign up for this dance class with her. My Mom thinks it would be cool. I haven't seen her all summer thanks to the chicken pox, and I was just enjoying life. We talked about the middle school, sports, families, dancing, everything under the sun. It was fun and so great to hear her voice. We were on the phone for ALMOST 2 hours! Yikes! Now I can see why your phone bill goes up when you have a teen. Taylor had to leave, and now I'm just chilling-at that is my day! ~Tori
