day off
we took down our pool today. its been useless for awhile considering the big leak. but now theres just a big thing of sand. and it was a lil sad to see it come down. its been there for 14 years. lots of parties and great times in that pool.
so then i went out with peach for a bit tonight. good times in applebees. when she brouht me back home it was like i was walkin through memories. walkin to my stairs i had vivid visions of my childhood. the swingset that used to be in the back corner. the vegetable garden that was back near the peach and plum trees. the pear tree. the flower garden...SO many bees. the freakin black squirrel that jumped on my head. my dog chasing the possum. making tomato sauce every other year. halloween parties. birthday parties. putting up the pool. staying up late when zia and zio would come over. first sleepover i had. christmas's, easters, holidays in general where we would go everywhere and fall asleep on everyones couches until the rents were ready to leave at 2 in the morning. first day of school. neon yellow and pink lunch boxes. high top sneakers. i thought i was the shit haha.
i could keep going. but i'll spare you since no one reads the long entries hahaha
it just reminded me that memory lane is a long road CONSTANTLY under construction. maybe i'll take a detour sometime.
