Admittedly, today's experiment proved to be somewhat less adventurous than anticipated; who knew biscuits were so easy to make (and so delicious)? We made strawberry shortcakes tonight, after finding some surprisingly-not-horrible-looking strawberries at the grocery store a couple of days ago, for $2/pound. And as much as I'm usually not a huge fan of whipped cream, it was ideal for the purpose. We're definitely making them again -- very probably this weekend.
