Waiting
As you're probably wondering about the subject title... what is your meaning by 'waiting'? Well, it is actually quite simple. There are actually a few things that I am waiting for.
The first thing that I am waiting for is going to Tennessee next month for an orientation program at my college. The orientation is going to be so much fun... I have already been in contact with some of my future fellow students and they are all so incredibly nice. This brings me to the next thing that I am waiting for. I cannot wait till college. I will finally be leaving Indiana and starting a life of my own in a city and state that I love. I feel sorry for any of you that have not been to Nashville... it is so beautiful and so much fun. Every one of my friends thinks that I am just going to Nashville because of Belmont... because it is such a great school. But, it is not just because of the school. I will hopefully finally be able to find a great boyfriend (one who doesn't abuse me) and be able to go hang out with new, wonderful friends in clubs and the such (since I don't exactly get to do that here).
The next thing that I am waiting for is to hear back from the job applied for... I am waiting for them to do a background check and all sorts of other stuff before they hire me. Wow, a background check your saying... why? Well, the background check is necessary because I applied to work for the federal government to help with the military personnel training at a nearby Army base. I hope that I get this job because it will be a way to help this country while still being able to go to college and live a normal life. Plus, I also want to do it for my cousin who has been in Iraq for 3 years now. Without him having the proper training, he might not be alive right now. So, I want to help millions of other solidiers prepare for their departure to the mideast.
So, these are the few things that I am waiting for.
