A lot has happened in the past week.
On Wednesday I got contacts.
On Thursday Gabe came.
On Friday Gabe and I wrote a song.
On Saturday I turned 18.
Today...I will get to that.
But yesterday. I had to go to traffic school for 5 hours in the morning. I actually learned things. The highschoolers around me who were being retarded, didn't.
After that I went home, ate, took a shower, and a ton of people started calling.
I went to pick up my friend and we drove around until we realized that there really isn't anything to do in Reno.
So we got fast food, Rocky Road ice cream, and headed over to my house to watch Top Gun. After that my sister, Elyse, and James were supposed to come over and play a game, and my dad was on his way home too.
We waited and waited, I got mad at my sister because I thought she was messing around. I was complaining about how she was late when she, James, Elyse, and my dad walk in my sister holding a cake with candles, and my dad holding flowers, all singing happy birthday. It was really cool.
After that we all played the game together. It always gets really heated. It was really fun. I left at 11:15 to take Liz home and when I got back we all hung out and talked.
Today. Today I started to realize more...and understand myself better.
I am not the person I was in Vegas. Almost night and day. But that is fine, there is nothing wrong with that. I am just growing up and that is okay.
Anyways, I went shopping for a winter coat with my Dad today, and after looking in the girl section and finding nothing I went into the guy section to find a pea coat. And I got a real Navy pea coat, just like how the sailors wear! I was so excited. It was soooooo warm. It has to be because they have to be in the wind and a lot of weather. The tag is the coolest part, it says USN and has a spot where the sailor would have to right his name.
After that we went to Borders and looked around. I found a good book and sat there and read for a while.
When we were done we headed over to Claim Jumper. It was funny, we walked in and one server was like "Dan the Man!" And the host was all nervous. Everyone comes around to the table and says hi because they want to be on his good side, or score points or something.
We had my favorite server, Roger. He was helping a trainee. She wasn't very good, she seemed confused all the time. Roger said Happy Birthday, and I was like, "Thank you, how did you know?" He said he was magic. When we were done eating he came over and gave me a big slice of icecream cake with a candle. I really like him a lot, he seems like a nice guy.
I remember the first time I saw him we were with Lou and Lillian on Father's Day, my dad put us with Roger because he is the best server, aside from Toni. When first came over to greet us, I looked up, and did a double take. Hmmm, I can just remember it clearly. I need to go in their more often...hehe.
I have math homework... Sabi and the kiddies are coming back tomorrow. I did enjoy the peace and quiet, but I miss them.
I need sleep tonight so I am going to get to work!
