Babies are very perceptive. B has not been at all fussy at the the time she normally is when the RS is here. As that is the time he is at his most tired, fatigued and grumpy. I think she feels his misery and expresses it through her irritability, unable to tell the difference between her feelings and mine (as his mood affects mine) or maybe her feelings and his?
Also, it could be she got 2 'proper' naps today and wasn't overtired.
Or it could be she has a cold and is too ill to be grumpy.
Or, she's getting older/
Or, her and I have spent lots of lovely time together today.
Or she's knackered learning to roll across the room. She was so excited to realise she can get something she wants from ACROSS THE ROOM. She laughed.
Also, she went to sleep without my nipple in her mouth, actually had her fill of milk, rolled over, stared at the ceiling a bit, kicked her legs, stared at the ceiling again and... WENT TO SLEEP. Bugger me that's amazing ;-)
It's the simple things that makes babies so awesome, not all babies you understand, just my, precious, beautiful, funny girl.
