Almost as soon as I completed my last entry I received a call from the Graduate Studies office asking what courses I needed for the fall and what was going on with my application. I emailed the woman the nitty gritty about what’s going on with my application as it had been communicated to me and gave her my course selection for the fall (I'll probably have to add something as soon as I speak with a real advisor on the matter)...
So that’s a Start.
Then I got a call from the TWS office setting up my interview for next Friday. I need to put together a 5 min ppt presentation and they would like to see how I present to a group. (I'm brainstorming about the presentation- perhaps the ins and outs of bearpaws? or something relating to technology at SUNY Potsdam... suggestions welcome!)
I then received an email from Reverend Mike. There were a few other interests in the Music Director Position and the session would like to hear all parties interested before making a decision. They're excited about my materials I sent and that I'm interested and they stressed that the delay in making a decision has nothing to do with me not being a good candidate- its that they need to consider all interested parties which i completely understand.
It was he who told me that right now I had to sit still and let the Spirit work...
Best advise ever.
In the meantime, my job position is being split in two and I need to get everything tied up for the new girl who is taking half my team as it was getting to be a bit much 6 calendars- 21 phone lines... soon to be 7 people total ... and that includes the Top two people at the firm, oy... (shakes head) so the transition will be a good, one- but there’s much to be done...
...Sitting still and letting the Spirit work on the rest....
