Spring In New York
No matter how many awful things I have to say about this horrible City I commute to every day... I'm kinda in love with Spring in New York! My commute in was sunny and bright. I was rested and bushy tailed. Walking in 70 degree weather to run errands today was blissful. This is before the hot and hazy summer days and after the gloomy winter months. I'll always be an autumn girl at heart but I LOVE spring. :)
Kinda makes ya wanna do home and do it like rabbits, no?! (jk ;) )
I'm looking for houses to rent up in Potsdam area. I just rEALLY want to fast forward the next 3.5 months. I feel like I'm chomping at the bit, getting into starting position just waiting for the gates to open and the race to be off! (Please check back in November when the first semester is coming to a close and I'm crying myself to sleep wondering why I ever thought Grad school would be a good idea...)
Last night Phil Pandori was in the area and Rob and he had dinner and I joined them for a drink. I haven't seen Phil in months but it was SO GOOD to see him and briefly catch up and SOCIALIZE with FIRENDS on a week night. Rob and I go so long between seeing our friends because 1) we never have time with theis god awful commutes and 2) no one lives around us... or reaches out sooooo- Getting back to Potsdam and friends is something I look forward to.

And music and singing and playing my violin. And running and sleeping and LIFE- as in- HAVING ONE!!!
I'm looking at a house (two actually) near Potsdam right on a brook with a WASHER and DRIER...
