thanksgiving weekend was lovely. i got absolutely nothing accomplished. i feel like i spent most of my weekend watching tv. i have a new year's resolution. will get stage by next year.
catered yesterday and came home with 10 pounds of sausage. am eventually getting an ipod, but my big expense of the month is that darn car insurance.
currently reading about Thomas Keller and the French Laundry. That place seems really stressful with all the perfection and excellence stuff.
need to bug chef stazi about how to fabricate a chicken to get all the skin off and how to keep the chicken in one-piece without the bones so i can make a balontine out of it. not that i foresee myself making a balontine anytime soon, but would still be interesting to learn.
