there's just something about the chef's uniform that can turn certain total schumck's from being total schumck's to totally hot. i think i just have a thing for the uniform and i'm not exactly sure what it is. a few weeks ago(Sat 11/12), chef glenn brought his son into work and he dressed him in a kid's chef's coat. that was SO FREAKIN' adorable. i loved it. another time, i worked with Bob for one of the Saturday classes. He has two kids and he had a picture of them, one was dressed in a chef's coat and the other one was dressed in a lobster suit sitting inside a pot. i was i had a copy to show you, but i don't.

finally finished reading angels and demons. still waiting for persimmons to ripen so i can make my persimmon pudding. have yet to find quinces. currently reading the soul of a chef by michael ruhlman. am a complete book whore for green apple's books.

biz management is somewhat interesting. my instructor is a master sommelier. that's kinda fun to say. am sitting in on wines, and is actually nice to get another instructor's teaching method. he's much more clear than antonio because he actually maps things on the board and the text is not as dense. We are currently using a text by kevin zraly vs. the first time around when we were using the CIA book.

um...rambling. off to read mas.
