i got myself a lot of reading material today. got my issue of food and wine in the mail. was once again sucked into the book section of costco and came out w/ the silver spoon. hopefully that will give me some inspiration for the vegetable/fruit terrines i have too make in adv garde manger. and yes, they have to be savory, not sweet. spanich gnocchi is sounding really good, though will not help with terrine.
i went to the japanese tea garden with julia yesterday. i wasn't sure what i expected, but i really enjoyed myself. walked around and enjoyed the zen. had some brown rice tea and was reminded of how good it tastes. need to get self a real cute teapot. the garden is probably pretty small, but it felt big because it has a bunch of diffent paths.
