BORED SHIT OUT OF MY MIND FOR A WEEK
So I survived my 3rd year of college. Was looking forward to coming home, spending some time w/ the folks, and being pampered for a week before I go back for 2 sessions of a bio-filled summer school. However, it turns out that momma is working in Tahoe for two weeks, so both my parents left me--with my grandmother to nag me and my brother to watch me-- and they took the damn dogs with them. =( As much as the stupid puppy bugs the crap outta me, I still wanted to play with that lovable creature!!
Recap: Finals kicked my ass, but NO MORE PCHEM!!!!!!!!! ::jumping for joy:: Bastard most traumatizing chemistry series I’ve ever taken in my life. The bain of my existence because I didn’t get to sleep in; every single quarter for the past year of my life I had pchem MWF 9-9:50 am. There was no point to studying for Bowers’s final b/c he’d pull the most random shit hardest questions that nobody could answer and IT’S ALL OVER!!!!! As for ochem…C’est fini aussi!! =)
Was looking forward to a summer of French, but it’s now looking like I will be starting my inorganic chemistry series with the professor that I’m working with (actually one of his grad students) on doping CdSe nanocrystals and ruthenium polypyridal complexes and what not. Odwalla. At least I’ll be living close to the beach on Del Playa drive.
Am tired of writing now. Later.
And before I forget, (I know that none of my roommates read my livejournal) but I wanted to thank Sonia, Sofia, and Heather for an awesome year. I’ll miss living with you because you’re the best and most considerate, fun, generous, and patient roommates I’ve ever had (even if you were a crazy breed of Christian people). Congratulations on graduating and all. I’ll see you again at Sonia’s wedding.
