A big rambling update
...So in case some of you did not know, John took me to Disney for my 21st birthday. We left on a Thursday and went to the Pirates and Princess party at Disney Thursday night and did MGM/Epcot Friday before driving home on Saturday. It was a great trip, lots of fun, no stress. We went with another couple and no one told me where we were headed until we hit Valdosta - at which point I figured it out. Previously I was told we were going onion picking, which I knew was a lie but was unable to figure out the truth. Disney after hours is great - not a lot of people and we walked onto all the rides. Same with Epcot/MGM on Friday. No lines = happiness.
...The house is still coming together. Stuff is everywhere, but I figure eventually it will all find its place.
...I think I am coming down with the flu or strep or something, though I hope not because my health insurance is still sketchy. I cannot afford a repeat of the bladder infection. But my throat hurts and my head hurts and I am just completely sore all over. The back of my throat is more white/faint pink than the healthy pink/red it should be. Ugh.
...I was in the sex store yesterday and overheard this very dignified, older black woman who had to have been at least 55 - 60 years old tell her daughter that "honey, you just have to get the bullet. Its amazing!" Later, while looking at a sex sling, she exclaims "Oh, I need one of these! It'd help with my arthritis." I think that woman will be my new best friend. Well, not really, but you get the point. After leaving the Love Shack on Roswell Road - which is shitty when it comes to anything other than vibrators/dildos - and going to the new Love Shack Superstore in Alpharetta, I was very pleasantly surprised with the new store and I got a 20% discount off my entire purchase and a $10 gift card for my next purchase. However, I was pissed that I purchased at the 1st store after being told the second store would not have it. All in all, I am displeased with their GM but that's a story for another day.
...John and I went to eat at my favorite restaurant last night with another couple old enough to be our parents - they have a daughter John's age - and we had a very nice time. I got to dress up a bit and I enjoyed it. John brought me home a HUGE bouquet of GORGEOUS roses as well as a few balloons. Very nice.
...The plumber is supposed to be coming to fix my broken bathroom pipes today and fix them so they get hot water...hopefully he'll come soon.
...I am hungry and should eat something healthy...but I think I will eat my fried cheesecake instead...
