Octoberfest!
I love October.
It is a month of change.
The Season is changing, the leaves are fallin, time zones are adjusting, nights are chilly & there is a fresh zing in the air. People are celebrate the season visually, putting out pumpkins and "spooky" decorations, handing out treats, playing in crazy fun get ups. And Mmmmmmmmm Pumpkin Pie & spiced apple cider (or wine) some of my favorite things I start to long for in October. All that makes my heart feel good, and I like to celebrate it with friends and family.
I'm going to have a few friends over to carve out pumpkins & enjoy the fruits of the season next weekend. I'm looking forward to a day at home doing something fun for harvest time. Especially since soon after my schedule will be ramped back up doing things for others at Dickens every weekend.(not that THAT isn't fun too). Yea! It's all good!
