I've been prompted to give an update, so here goes!
I've been soo busy with school, rock band club, homework, and commutes that I haven't really had time to do anything of enough interest to post on this blog. However I've been able to throw a few Happy Hour occasions in here and there... so I can fulfill my need to relax, be social, and have fun!!
Anyway, I'm on the 2nd day of a long 5 day weekend called Golden Week here in Japan. Basically the entire country has these days off, except for people in retail stores, restaurants, etc. So needless to say everything is more expensive than usual, and definately more crowded!!! Today Ash and I went on a picnic at Tama Center park. We ate a lot, drank alot, talked a lot, and laughed away all the frustrations of life as students of Obirin!! haha. Ohhh and since tomorrow is Children's Day, there was a festival at the park that included a play done by none other than HELLO KITTY and Friends!! We drank our beers and learned our greetings in both Japanese AND English *gasp* alongside hundreds of lil kids. Good times!! Ash's page has pictures... LJ name is theloststarling. or hellostarling. Go there to check them out, cuz today's picture edition doesnt include them.
Which gets us to the fun part.. pictures!! Nas has been bringing her camera to school almost everyday, snapping fun and slightly strange pix, and then sending them to me!! (thank youuu!!) So Click the link below and you can see how much fun Obirin International Students have!!
Paul and I doing what we do best in Oshiro-sensei's class (US Japan Relations)... goofing off!! This is taken before we spent the entire 1.5 hour class period updating our schedule books, and catching up on text messages. Sad thing is, we didn't miss anything since we were watching a movie in Japanese that we couldn't understand anyways!!
Nas and I in the same class, showing our LOVE <3 <3 hahaha. This was also before the doodling in our planners like we're back in high school began.
From L to R, me, Paul, Jaime and Anna. I'm showing off my awesome new planner book, which I bought to replace the old one I lost somewhere between Yoichi's house in Chichibu (3hrs from Tokyo) and Australia last month. It's Atom Boy!!! We're all in the Sakura cafe, getting ready to eat some lunch!
Hope you enjoyed the update... more will come later. I have lots of new pix to upload, when I get the energy up to do sooooo!!
See you guys back home in... wow.... less than 3 months!
