Thank you! When I saw the prompt, this immediately came to mind. Kneeling in the dirt, cradling your dead brother. That is the saddest thing I could think of.

Thank you. I read your comments on the las site yesterday, and I really hadn't ever thought that the comm participants wouldn't be voting. I guess it does play against you if you vote and other people don't, but from feedback I've gotten at both las' that I've been in, I think most people were voting.

The multi-fandom thing is a problem. I'm not going to make it much further, I don't think, because SPN isn't a fandom that most of the other writers know much about. Torchwood, Dr. Who, Harry Potter, Batman, these are the fandoms that are going to be around at the end, not because their writers are all better than me (though some of them are), but because they are fandoms that they'll vote for.

What las are you in that you get two prompts? And yay for winning rounds! The only one I ever won was a three way tie for first.

I think if comm participants didn't vote there wouldn't be very many votes for most of the comms.
