Title: Undertow
Character: Sam or Dean ( I actually had Sam in mind for it, but it could be Dean of seasons past too)
Genre: gen
Rating: PG
Word count: 100
Summary: Sometimes you've got to dive right in, even though it might end up drowning you.
Written for the prompt: 'stream', at the SPN 100 challenge on ff.net.
I was toying with the idea of having this be my episode tag for this week, but it's too vague.
You’re just going to dip your toes in, no more. Maybe wade up to your knees in the dark, treacherous, stream. That’s it, you swear. You’ve learned all too well what happens, diving in over your head. But when your brother’s in trouble, getting swept away becomes the least of your worries and you ride the undertow down, down, down. Before you know it you’re headed over Niagara Falls in a barrel of your own fucked up design: one guaranteed to shatter between the rocks and the raging current. He’ll forgive you or he won’t. Either way, you’re saving him.
