Whoa! I expect dark and brutal for this 'verse, and Sam, wow,he kicked it up a notch. I expected more of the mental trauma, but this was mostly physical and really disturbing in a compelling way.

There's been so much going on in the psychological damage department that I wanted to get more into the physical. Sam's got a lot more in store for his brother and Dean's not going to like any of it.

But Sam pulverising Dean's jaw! I expected more subtlety from Sam, more malicious glee as he tortures Dean to give him what he wants. I honestly expected he'd pull each of Dean's teeth out then enjoy the mouth that would still retain its shape, flexibility and generally prolong Dean's humiliation and pain. I could even then picture Sam torturing Dean with a nice juicy steak or burger that he can no longer eat because he can't bite so he'd just have to suck more cock!
