“I was dying,” Hughes says, and this is the strangest grin yet. “Only I made the mistake of doing it in a telephone booth.”

HOW DID I KNOW THIS WAS GOING TO HAPPEN. i read hughes, dw, and think "omg". and yep. there it is.

anyway, i simultaneously love and hate you. not like that's anything new but. ugh. UGH. UGGHHHHH. i want more

Ahahaaa, the topic came up AGES ago! Considering my dual weaknesses for crossovers and fix-it fic, I honestly held out longer than I would've expected... :|

SHAMELESSLY GUNNING FOR MIXED EMOTIONS IS A TECHNIQUE THAT HAS BEEN PASSED DOWN THROUGH TIERFAL'S FIC FOR GENERATIONS. \o/

THIS IS PERFECT. YOU ARE PERFECT /mad flailing

Every sad feeling I had about Hughes and Alfons is gone. Even the angsty parts were still heart warming. And now I think I ship Hughes/Ten just a bit?? I definitely ship Hughes/Ten/Alfons/Shenanigans.

“And you think you’re not important,” the Doctor says, smiling faintly. “I suppose I can’t expect you to have read the history books from your own future, but you are, Alfons. You’re marvelous.”
I'm such a sap that I was getting choked up through most of this fic, but this line very almost made me cry happy tears.

Man, I feel like I'll never be sad again :')

YOU ARE CRAZY BUT I LIKE THAT IN A READER SO ♥;;

afjkldsjfkladaaaaa :'D I didn't expect Hughes/Ten to be a thing, but given that Ten was my bicycle in that fandom, and I secretly sort of ship Hughes with everyone... well, I shouldn't be surprised that I opened the door for it rather widely as I wrote! X'D

"Shenanigans" is possibly my favorite word and definitely my favorite thing. 8D

...I think it would be completely pointless to argue, since it's totally my fault. :P

*CLINGS*

Alive tends to be the best start to most endeavors, hahaha. XD Why did I just try to type "endeavours"? Tierfal, you are still not a Brit.

I'm... kind of wiped, but also alive! XD I actually composed a post about FTE and other fun shit at work today, so stay tuned for that! ...unless of course I forget to finish it off later tonight, pfffffff. :'D

(no Hei icon, so you have to squint at Brohood Al and pretend it's him XD)

I write this while struggling with an uncooperative action scene, so right now I'm afraid I have to confesss I'm wildly jealous of how effortless and vivid and clear your prose reads. I'm always a sucker for Alfons fix-it, because the determination and wryness and general attitude he's developed living with his illness makes me want to see more of him, and makes me go, "dammit, you got ripped." Anyway, bullet points:

- it is totally hilarious how Maes has taken to time travel like he's been doing it all his life, and it's super-sad that the price of this is being cut off from his family. ;_;
- Also: “I was dying,” Hughes says, and this is the strangest grin yet. “Only I made the mistake of doing it in a telephone booth.” Ha!
- tangent: when you were in the UK, were you ever tempted to stage the phonebooth scene for photo LOLs? When enemytosleep visited me, we so nearly did it. (Instead we have photos of her missing the Hogwarts Express.)
- Also, this line: I love you, ( ... )

(...can I just gaze slightly pervily instead because Brohood Al omg WHAT A STUD?)

Gahhh, I'm hand-over-mouth-and-turning-reddish!flattered over here!! You have one of the most masterfully smooth writing styles of anyone I know!

the determination and wryness and general attitude he's developed living with his illness makes me want to see more of him, and makes me go, "dammit, you got ripped."
THIS EXACTLY! I'm so deeply fascinated by his character, and that's sort of the central paradox to him for me -- I wish we just had more time to see him and learn about him and get to know him; and yet the very thing that's crystallized him into such a wonderful half-illuminated character is his knowing that his time is so short. I can't seem to get him out of my head, haha. XD

...okay, so I'm trying to develop a theory of some kind as to how you always take away exactly what I was trying to put in, but I can't think of any way to say "Maybe we once traded some small fragment of brain matter" without sounding very very very creepy. ._____ ( ... )
