40th Annual Support Staff Dinner
Tonight was the 40th Annual Support Staff Dinner for Gettysburg College. It was a much nicer dinner than last year. The food that was supposed to be hot - was. The food that was supposed to be cold - was. The food was abundant enough to go around for everyone! I had three lovely glasses of wine with dinner. That's much more than I've drank in the past two months. I had a great time chatting with with my coworkers. The night would have been especially great if Eric had been able to join me. Unfortunately, he ended up having to work a double today so I went alone. It was still a great time, it was just kind of lonely after the presentations were done and the music started and people hit the dance floor.
It is nice that the college does that for us. We have a nice dinner every January. The last two years it was held at the Wyndam Hotel in Gettysburg.
