Development of Ziva - I like that there's no hallmark moment that where Ziva is accepted by Abby and the others. It just shifts over time.
Someone must have switched discs #2 and #3 of the show because I saw the episode where Abby's assistant framed Tony before I saw the episodes where he turns up. It kinda spoiled things a leetle.
The episode where Tony and Ziva go undercover as a married couple of assassins (Switch) is hilarious. I have to admit, I was a little disappointed by the fact that them rolling about in bed was the scene I saw in a music vid. I thought there was actual relationshipness happening. Ah well, plenty of UST and some great zingers from Ziva. Tony really must have gotten tired of those push-ups, though. *snerks*
Michael Welch as a teenaged bomber in (Bait). Okay, the guy has serious acting chops. He's a pretty amazing actor. And his imdb page indicates he's done all this stuff since he appeared in SG-1. Man, that was years ago now. What? Five, six years?
Interesting note: In the episode with the maneating bear (Ravenous), Gibbs uses metres to instruct DiNozzo and McGee where to go, not yards.
I'm really liking the dynamics Ziva brings to the team. Kate could be very stereotypically feminine at times; Ziva is distinctly female but tends to skim around the standard 'feminine' stereotypes. It helps that she's not culturally American, and that she's written as not-culturally-American. That has a strong appeal for me. And the tough, together girl does it for me as well.
I'm most of the way through S3. The rest of S3 and the start of S4 this week. We're getting through it slowly.
