My favorite character across all fandoms is Maria Hill, so I relate to your trauma about being attached to a character that gets glossed over. Except that when I feel that way, I reread the MH fics you wrote because they're the best by far, and it lifts me up to know that there are other (more talented, more dedicated) fans out there who put in the time and effort to flesh out her character and put it into words.
Don't really have a point with this comment, but just wanted you to know that you have at least one loyal fan who swears by everything you write and wishes it was canon.
Also, I loved Stumptown because it gave me chaotic-Maria-Hill-without-SHIELD vibes and it did pretty well in ratings, but ABC renewed then reversed the renewal, so that's another blow.
