job update!
woo! i got a job! I am now a group leader for a 2 year old class at the Brookville Center for Children's Services in New Hyde Park, NY! I will have to follow their curriculum, communicate with parents on a daily basis, and work with adorable little toddlers! It also means moving home, but meh...its a job! and I get to plan lessons! and follow a curriculum! and do lots of teachery stuff, even if it isn't with the level i'm certified for. they also have special education services there, so hopefully i can get myself into that as time goes on.
