Crazed Madman Attacks Downtown Melior

An invasion of tiny spider-like automatons isn't the only threat facing our great country's scientific and cultural capital today. When the small arachnid invaders constructed a massive version of themselves, Alex Rowe, captain of the renegade ship, the Silvana, took it upon himself to destroy it with cannonfire, causing severe damage to one of Melior's shopping districts.
According to eyewitnesses, Rowe gave a brief warning before raining down cannonfire from on high. Although this attack was successful in disabling the mechanical monstrosity, stray cannonfire and shrapnel partially ruined several buildings surrounding it. Nobody was killed in this senseless attack, although several people sustained light wounds.
Some eyewitnesses report a bolt of lightning striking the spider before it was destroyed by cannon fire, but the credibility of these reports is in question as the sky was clear during the attack.
