the other day in the statesman there was finally an artical about reinstating the draft, which made me feel sort of relieved. especially since it mainly described how that shit ain't gonna happen. duh there's no support. this is why I could never be a politician. I would say "duh".

I feel kind of like everyone in austin is stuck in a rut. nothing creative has come out in what seems like months, and everyone keeps talking about what they want in tones that already suggest that it'll never happen. the whole group of friends is sort of falling apart. at this point all there really is to do is pick up your fallen who remain loyal, kiss them, and travel to new heights. what a perfect time for me to move. 2 months remaining, but a lifetime for those I still love.
