And now the holiday season is in its waning days...we are in Chicago which is even more fun the second time because we know how to get around and what we want to see. Plus Z is now old enough/interested enough to participte in the kids' program at the convention so that frees up more time. Which I have spent sleeping or reading. Also eating.
I would really like to come back in the spring or summer and do some of the activities that are suspended in the winter. Number one on that list is the architectural boat tour. Thankfully we missed a lot of last week's blizzard but this time is noticeably colder than last year. My fingers actually felt frozen at one point.
I wouldn't mind living here. It is like New York with all the buildings and bustle but with friendly mid-Westerners.
