A report on the physical transition so far.
I'm really aware that my journal has become a transition log. I didn't really want it to end up that way, but I guess that's what I need to write about.

I got my second shot of testosterone yesterday. The doctor decided to give me just half (as opposed to the full 200mg dose I got the first time) because of the uncomfortable swelling.
Anyway, here are some of the changes so far:

Definite:
1) Overall mood seems to have lifted. Lots of reasons for that.
2) Muscles feel sore... well not so much sore as kinda tight. I need to do a lot of stretching now and it feels SO good.
3) Voice has dropped some already. The Girl sometimes doesn't know who I am when I call, & my mom asked me if I was congested when I was on the phone this afternoon. I think it's more obvious in person. On the phone I usually sound like myself, or at least definitely female. So It's subtle now, but it's there.
4) Growth and scent change. Yes there. Yes already.
5) Sweat. Lots.
6) Oil. Lots. I've been vigilant, so no substantial breakouts.
7) Weight gain. I think I was up 5 lbs after the first 7-10 days. I think it's mostly muscle, but I don't know for sure yet. I wonder how much I weigh now.
8) Less of an impulse to eat/snack. Lots of reasons. When I do eat, though, I'm quite the cookie monster.
9) I actually have a sex drive now.
10) More of a tendency to be tired. If I've been grumpy or whatever, this was usually the cause.
Possibly psychosomatic:
11) A little bit more stamina now when it comes to physical things like running or climbing multiple flights of stairs.
12) I feel like there's just a smidge more musculature -esp. at my calves & my face (specifically my cheeks.)
