Thank You For Smoking...
If passed, the new Ohio budget will allow our county to put a .30/pack cigarette tax on the budget, the proceeds of which will go to benefit the arts.
It's an easy vote for me, since I don't smoke, but with ciggies already around $4/pack (or so - as I said, I don't really pay attention), I can't see it going very far as a ballot measure. It would be an especially troubling dilemma for my broke but still smoking actor friends.
