SanTica Claus is coming to town

You know, I think this is the first time in years that i've been this stoked about Christmastime. Growing up, Christmas was always my favorite holiday but the last couple of years, the excitement just hasn't genuinely been there for me. In 05, I'm pretty sure I spent the entire Christmas at the hospital. 06 was right after the discovery and I tried to fake it, but I'm about as bad an actress as I am a liar. Last year, I was stressed and depressed. There's very little taking in Christmas in my home this year and I think that's what's got me over the moon about it so much. I sent out greetings/cards for the first time since college because I wanted to reach out to people. I gave to charity. My present list was pretty simple...well, except what I'm getting for Mom. But it comes from the most genuine place in my heart because I want her to help her treatment. This is going to be huge! I'm so blessed to be able to do these things. My heart is seriously about to burst because there's nothing I enjoy more in this world than giving to make other people happy.

Anyway, if you see me shining over the next few days, it's because I'm just THAT excited. Christmastime is here! :)
