[Donatello sounds far more excited than anyone, including his brothers, have probably heard him sound in a while.]

Confirmed!

Two weeks of less-than-stellar interaction over the network - which, in this case, possibly means instigating a conversation yourself instead of only replying to others - equates to a penalty. A spray of water in this case; ( Read more... )

I'm not. It's completely harmless, I assure you.

I meant all the excitement. You could pull something.

I'm perfectly able to contain myself, thank you.

Don't get me wrong, I like hearing you so up-beat.

I've been waiting for two weeks; it's natural to feel excited that the wait is over.

I'm just teasing you, Donatello. There's no need to explain yourself.

Though you are...wonderfully informative.

I don't see why I shouldn't be. This is interesting.

There really isn't any way for the water to be stored in this communicator, particularly without being seen or noticed before now, but it is. I could chalk it up to the physics on this boat being non-existent, but that would be an easy answer, and there's always the chance that there is an explanation.

Do you have any ideas?

I'm not sure, having just gotten here, but if I had to guess, I'd say perhaps it's an act on the Captain's part? If he can transport people here, he may be transporting the water and just making it look like it's being projected out of our communicators.

Possibly.

That's actually not a bad idea. I'm fairly certain it is an act instigated by the captain, though I'd assume there would be a more efficient method than him having to do it himself every time.

I don't really get the point of any of it. What's it to him if people use his little gifts? If it's even a ruling made by the captain to begin with.

There's a lot of holes, here.

Still, it's obviously something that's regularly enforced. If we're here for any purpose it's possibly for entertainment...a withdrawn passenger would not make for good viewing, I'd assume.

As for holes...we haven't been here long enough to make a judgement on that, not even Leo or I.

[Donatello would feel your pain, April, except he's still a bit too busy being excited about his water]

How likely is it that the Captain is spying on us?

[She's kinda freaked out now.]

[oh, wow, truth or a softening of the truth?]

It's...likely. Very likely. Though I doubt everything we do is being observed. One person alone is unlikely to hold undivided attention for any length of time.
