tl;dr     The new Pixeljunk Monster 2 feels like an upgrade to a purple tower but selling a black tower. Those who played the first game will get this reference. Ultimately, Monsters 2 is outshine by its predecessor. Stay away from this game if you loved the ( Read more... )

I played the TerRover demo on PS3 and I'm not impressed by it. The controls were awkward but that's because I wasn't able to adjust quickly enough. The main killing point of the game was the TerRover movement and terrain design. I just played the PS3 Demo of Split Second and come to the conclusion that it is a well done game that lacks a soul. It is built well, looks good, controls fine, but it's missing the "hey wow play me" factor. Maybe multiplayer would make it worth it but it's not in the demo.

Verdict: Skipping it
