Teletrations = Petting Zoo + Bear King

Feb 16, 2015 10:00

Telestrations is a 4 to 8 player game of telephone but with drawings. Players will write or draw a noun or action on a small white board and pass it to their left or right. The player receiving the board then draws what the previous player has written if there is a word or guesses what the picture is. This continues until all the white boards have cycled through the entire group. At the end of the game, everyone reveals what the the final drawing or guess was and how it all went astray from the original word. It's a giant game of telephone but with a white board.

I swear that what a petting zoo looks like
This game is fun when you throw away the whole scoring system. It's pointless to follow it as the whole concept of the game is the make fun of each other drawings and guesses. The more artistically challenged people play, the more entertainment value Telestration has. Players explaining how they came to their guess or drawing is the main draw of Telestrations. There has been few incidents where a bear king, a NSFW table, and a stove wouldn't have happen if everyone was a perfect artist.

Hopefully the people with terrible drawing skills don't mind a few laughs at their expense.

Verdict: Play it
