Okay, so this is from a book of poems translated by Burton Watson, who claims in his introduction that, essentially, classical poems from China don't go for sexy.
And then he prints things like this:
Oh oh - ah ah -
thoughts of you will never end!
Your left arm I used for a pillow,
and when you turned on your side, I turned with you.
Anon.
...Perhaps we simply have very different tastes, Burton Watson and I.
