The SO and I took a walk yesterday to celebrate the last of the perfect fall weather we've been having. Of course we took our cameras with us.
While he was focusing on some milkweed fluff, I wandered farther on and spotted this little wonder at the side of the trail...

My SO spotted these little ones hanging out on the BBQ shelf today.
If you disturb them at all, they scatter then come right back together again.
The body of each spider was about 1 millimetre across.
My first thought after 'Oooo, so cool!' was 'Wow, these guys would be perfect next time there's a 'Guess How Many' contest! So much better than Jelly ( Read more... )
