I'm enjoying my time in Nursing school so far. Just the other day I was put in bed restraints, arms and legs, but not in a very sexy way, either.

Although I got a terrible and scary wake up call when my professors were discussing to us what would be happening two Mondays from now. If any of were to have below an 80% we would not be able to move on to the next class (there are 3 nursing classes this semester, each 5 weeks long, in sequential order: 101,102,103). You wont know if you made it until they tell you on that Monday. So, if you get below that 80% you can either wait 'til the end of class, or get up and go, making things terribly awkward. But they let you down easy, and help you drop the other classes.

The thought of that situation is enough for me to keep doing well. I think I have somewhere around and 82% which is cutting it close for me.

I think I can do it.

Lately, I've been playing around with the concept of being a UN aide worker right after my 3 year stint at CAMC. I think it'd be a great opportunity to help and travel. I was looking at the requirements: you need at least 3 years of experience in your line of work, be able to be on assignment from 6-12 months, fluent in and major language (French, Italian, Spanish, English, etc.). On top of that they pay for your housing plus living stipend, and what better way to give back than helping others.

I think it would be a very unique experience to take part in.

We'll see how thing work out.

If not that, I think I'm gonna go on one of those month long Antarctic cruises. I really want to go.

Anyways I thought this was neat:
