On the bus to the library today, I decided I'm going to try and stop being picky. I'm not going to try everything, but I'll try and eat whatever is in front of me, particularly if it's something my mom makes. I'll always have my preferences, but I think it's time to stop limiting myself. On a further note, I'll take more chances, watch more movies I judge badly by movie poster and/or trailer alone, and stop saying I hate certain things until I try them first.
... but I'm still not trying Twilight. Sorry.
Tomorrow is the Cisco Ottawa Bluesfest, which spans from the 6th - 19th (though technically the 19th is just cleanup; the festival grounds are closed, and it's a short shift). Contrary to its name, it's not actually a festival with all blues music, though there are blues shows -- just not on the main stages. During the two week span, I only get 3 days with no shifts, and shifts (for Green Team, anyway) last 3 hours. My schedule's here under a cut, and it's mostly for my reference, but oh well.
