I saw Sir Paul McCartney saturday evening at AT&T Park in San Francisco. The seats were quite literally one row from being as far from Sir Paul as the stadium physically allows, but the view was still quite remarkable.
Yes. I am the worlds biggest Beatles fan. Yes, it was amazing and perfect and every other great word I know. I won't bore you with an endless poetic waxing. Just know it was worth the 15 year wait.
Although, I did cry when he played the song he wrote after John Lennon's death, called Here Today. And I did get a little freaked out when the stadium exploded in a giant fireball
of fireworks just as the awesome epic part of Live And Let Die began.

In the real world, this film shoot is exhilarating! So far the average day has been between 13 and 14 hours for me. I write this entry now at 6:22 AM, just half an hour after I returned to my empty apartment. 4PM to 5AM is especially taxing. The human body just doesn't approve of working all night and sleeping all day. Sure its acceptable when you're pulling a single all-nighter to finish a paper. You feel tired and gross that night, but then you sleep in. Pulling 28 all nighters in a row is going to be a feat of strength. It doesn't help that this San Jose summer has been humidly hot during the day (when I do most of my sleeping) and freakishly cold at night (we're talking see-your-breath/hats-scarves-coats-gloves cold) in July.
Working on the film set is completely worth it though. I'm learned more in the first 6 days of shooting than I have in the first 2 years of my Major classes.
And now I'm off to sleep, my day is just ending. Wake-up time is approximately 3PM later today.
My 21st birthday is in exactly 2 weeks.
