I've been jumping off the walls with Christmas cheer all day~~~ Decorated our house with crafty snowflakes cut from paper and glitzy silver tinsel *__* Then I went to the Festival of Lights in the town over with my roommates--of course singing Christmas songs all the way there! There was a pretty cute parade too, not like the overly commercial ones we have in Toronto--although I do miss the Santa Claus parade ;__; It was a fairly large event for the island, apparently the biggest event all year. It was pretty funny to see cement trucks tricked out with twinkle lights (I wish I snapped a picture XD) There was a small crafts fair--no fudge, which was disappointing. It all ended with a lengthy fireworks show where we were so close there was ash in our hair!
