A moment of insanity

Michael has mentioned more children and for a split second this evening I considered it
I was more fascinated with all the new baby stuff I could buy and the idea that if I get into a regular running routine before getting knocked up I can run while pregnant
Then I remembered the labor and the puking and snapped back to reality.
I am convinced that a woman's brain tries to make her forget the nasty stuff about being pregnant and all things newborn for the sake of procreation and keeping the species alive.
I took a sip of wine and thought about how I can't drink when knocked up either
All selfish reasons but perfect examples of why I should not have another child anytime soon.

Ava is still her hilarious self
Yesterday we stopped by Michael's local cigar shop so he could pick up some lighter fluid.
There is a back corner area with two sofas and a tv for the regulars to sit and watch football.
Ava loves the sofas so she went back there and saw one of the 'regulars.'
She immediately introduced herself and went on and on just chatting away.
Since she was in a good mood Michael had time to browse.
She literally spoke for 45 minutes straight.
She had ballet slippers on so she danced and explained she was a ballerina AND a princess and she spelled her name, sang songs, just talk talk talk talk talk.
They were all very impressed and loved her energy. It was funny.
Naturally, the poop issue came up. She informed them all she was now a big girl who poops in a toilet, not in her panties, and that her mother is very very proud. She also informed them that they pooped in toilets because they were "Big Boys"
Nice Ava. Nice.
She didn't stop talking today either. I swear, my ears are still ringing even after she goes to bed.
Her newest musical addiction is The Killers. All These Things That I've Done.
She knows the chorus and mumbles through the rest but she gets very VERY into the parts she knows.
Michael is happy to judge that she is not tone deaf and can actually hold a note well.
I am clueless, I just think it's hilarious that she dances about just like the singer and then bangs her hands around on her imaginary keyboard. She also shakes her head when she gets to the "I got soul but I'm not a soldier" part.
It's too funny. I am going to have to videotape her soon, it's too much.
