Finished a bit more on the hand cannon today, I cut out six grip sections from mdf sheet and laminated them together with aquadhere. The once the glue had dried i sat down and sanded them to shape, adjusting the left hand grip to allow for my thumb joint, so the weapon is now optimized for my right hand, though left hand use is not too uncomfortable.

so all thats left is to get some black spray paint and start the brass work paint job.
