Walking on Sunshine
I went for a walk after work today. I'm seriously out of shape. Walked for about an hour or so, and was very winded and sore afterward. I used to be in such good shape. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to get back into shape. It was a beautifully sunny day, though. I love late summer days like today. There's little better to do than go to a tavern on the water, get out on the dock, and sample the local micro-brews.
In other news, I have a female friend coming to visit me next weekend. I'm very excited, of course. We're going to the theatre, a Mariners game, and the state fair. There should even be some time in there to just be together. I think I'm looking forward to that the most.
Cool Things:
-we're hiring a new game designer at work
-the Oakland Athletics lost
-58 consecutive days of 70 degree or hotter temperatures in Seattle (wtf?!)
Lame Things:
-the Seattle Mariners lost too
-headaches
