I know that I've been rotten about updates lately. I am surviving, hanging on by my fingernails. Life is full of surprises, the ones lately haven't been so great. Add in the winter doldrums, and well, I'll be back when I've got something other then whining to post.

I am reading and I will check in occasionally, but right now I need to hibernate

The retrenchments were announced today. I am not one of them, thank goodness, however a number of people I like were and others have had their work/job descriptions completely changed. This is a sad day.

edited to add: Damn it, a couple of them are some of my favorite co-workers. Blast.
