love songs....
So here's what I've noticed; Love songs are annoying and painful to listen to when you're alone. But when you're in love, they are AMAZING. I've always listened to Barry White in the past, but right now, those songs are my fuckin life soundtrack! "Time has Told Me" by Nick Drake, or "Because I Love you" by Lenny Williams, this shit is MOVING me now, plus it's fun to sing along with in the car.
the song "My Cherie Amour" by Stevie Wonder is my current thing, I'm OBSESSED with that fucking song, I listened to it on repeat for about an hour last night, singing along. DAYAMM!
Don't get me wrong, I still love my distorted, energetic, drummy noise as much as always. Black Flag, or the Misfits, will always be in my heart and soul. But right now is not the time for the Damaged album. The teenage depression days are over and I'm goddam FINE with that. There's only so much you can hate life before you realize you're just being a bitch. If you hate the world, half of it is the world, and half of it is you.
