While I do have more minutes than I used to on my phone, I'm going to be changing next month and 'regressing' back to fewer, so I'm getting back into the habit of doing most calls on the weekend, which are free. Today I sang at the 'Swan Song' concert for the organist and choirmaster of 22 years at the church where I sing. She's retiring and her final Sunday is tomorrow morning. The concert went very well; we sang music from our England tour back in July. It wasn't standing room only, but there was quite a respectable crowd there ( Read more... )

My time in Ely was quite pleasant. It's a very small little place with a massive cathedral in the middle of it. I could easily transport myself back to a time in the middle ages when that would have been the major focus of the town. Our concert went well; no major bloopers and we had a decent sized audience. Well, the movie first. I adore it. Absolutely superb, and I hope to be able to share a viewing of it with friends in the future. I also found the soundtrack so I can listen to it.
