Remember
way back when I was thinking about getting a tattoo? Well, seeing as I'm a HUGE wimp when it comes to sharp pain (though I usually don't have much problem with blunt force pain), I figured that's probably not the way to go, 'specially since I really can't settle on the whole what and where issue. So I've decided to go another route.
As of two nights ago, I've started
gaging my ears.
At first I was a bit iffy about it. True, I've had my piercings for years (originally done back when I was about 11, then re-done six months to a year later (fault of step mother no. 1)), but I almost never wear anything since they bother me a whole lot. Last time I did wear earrings was for my older sister's wedding back in March of '07. So yeah, I'm not really used to having stuff in their too often. Hence, I figure it'd probably be a good idea to just wear some regular studs for a few days to get the holes opened up again.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch Josh has recently gotten a set containing about ten pairs of tapers. (When we first got together his two bottom holes were a size six, and the two up top were 12s, but due to numerous reasons he's had them out for months. So, restretchy time!) Anyhoo, the other night he was switching up his sizes and I was getting ready to start up with mine. Since I was having a hard time finding my hole with no mirror, I asked him to put my post in. (THIS DOES NOT SOUND DIRTY AT ALL. :| :| :|) Rather than doing as I asked, he grabbed a taper...
...AND SHOVED IT THE FUCK IN.
Leaving me with pretty much no choice as to whether or not I'd go through with it. So yes, gaging I am.
Now, I'm not gonna go too huge with them, (probably a size 6 in the bottom holes, maaaybea 4 at the most, and an 8 or 10 up top).
(Here's a size chart for reference.) I've got 18s in the bottom now, and in roughly two weeks I'll switch those to the top holes and size up in the bottom.
Now if only I could figure out that whole tattoo thing.
