When George returned after his trip to Chorus, he brought a note from the young sorcerer along with a stack of letters from Fandom, to Alanna's delight. Thom's short letter, along with the odd questions from her friends, did plenty to alleviate her fear of something going seriously wrong and she set to replying to her post.
