Club PYRO
Club PYRO doubled this time as a release party for the latest CRAZY CRAZY Vol. IV DVD/BluRay, so when we got to LOFT they started played the concert footage. Actually, back up a bit. Before we even got there, people had been tweeting "Haha Eric is on the DVD!" Now, this isn't unusual- normally I stick out in a Japanese crowd, and as such am frequently noticable in wider crowd shots of shows I'm not standing way in the back for (and sometimes I am even in those, depending on the angle/etc.). So when we got to LOFT, people were coming up & saying the same thing, adding that I was really noticable somehow. Unfortunately we hadn't gotten around to watching it yet, as on top of our already established habit of hardly ever getting around to watching live concert DVDs, my PS3 had recently gotten its third YLOD (ironically, with a concert DVD stuck in it), so no BluRay watching for us. Eventually we asked someone who'd watched it, since everyone's reaction seemed to make it out to be more than just the usual face-in-a-crowd shot, and it turned out they'd used a clip from the 10 Days final/countdown show of J handing me the 10th wristband. LMAO. To add to that, the FC newsletter that came out just after that included another shot of me posing w/ J's bass. XD

The event was amusing as usual- J standing awkwardly bass-less on stage w/ headphones half on, bobbing his head, & occasionally looking up, nervously grinnig, sipping his beer, and giving the evil hands. Between sets a very excitable half-Russian guy named Maxim (which will always remind me of my high school textbook example sentence of "Maxim looks outs the window" (Максим смотрит в окно), which sounds like "Maxim smotrit FUCK NO" XD). By the end of the night everyone was pretty drunk, and Gocchin actually came out into the crowd & started dancing around during J's final set. XD I'd have to say the weirdest part, though, was J lip-synching along to "Teenage Dream". >_<;;
