So. I’m refraining from keyboard-slamming incoherent stuff at you. Because for some reason I’m feeling like that would cheapen it. /weirdo ( ... )

YOU! adgnadkjfnadjfnda;n Basically, ILU a whole big bunch.

I am so so glad you like your (very very) belated not!porn. They just wouldn't be porny, J. They want to have feeeeeelings and shit. (Which: seriously, I am noticing this always happens with Kalinda-pov. She is so much more angsty than Alicia. *pats her*) Thank goodness she still feels relatively in character, even with the longing and the romance and the calling Alicia "honey".

Poor Kalinda. I really feel she would hate having a crush more.

(And of course, of course it all ends happily. :) Hah, look at that, I word-of-God-ed a fic.)

IN SUM: YES. *twirls you around the room* Happy porn Sunday (or, um, porn day-without-religious-connotations-day)! &hearts

Feels like ComicCon but for fanfic melungea March 22 2011, 17:18:32 UTC
I feel like I just read an incredible piece by a giant of fanfic and then read the heartfelt response to that piece by another giant of fanfic. It's sitting in the front row at the Firefly panel at ComicCon and seeing Leonard Nimoy walk up to the question mic to tell Joss Whedon how much he loves his work. Squee! Given that SweetJaimieLee provided an expertly written synopsis to your beutifully written fic, all I can really say is that this made my day. Thank you both for being such incredible writers of this fandom. I should provide some kind of feedback in my comment so I offer this ( ... )

Wow, just- thank you. Being compared to Leonard Nimoy/Joss Whedon is seriously one of the most flattering things that has ever happened to me lol. Hands down. Very, very happy you liked the fic.

As for The Good Wife avoiding heterosexist tropes: YES. I was so pleased to find a network show that got it so right. (Unlike, say, L&O. Oh god, I don't even want to remember that whole "is this because I'm a lesbian?" debacle.) Kalinda's queer-conquests are, for the most part, not cheap ratings grabs, which is lovely.

And sweetjamielee has seriously written the flagship fic for this pairing, no doubt about it. I owe her my firstborn child/heart/spleen/porn in repayment. :) Alas though, CBS would have to become a cable channel before we could be writers there (that, or broadcasting standards would have to become waaaaaay less stringent).

I am so glad the fic feels as though it could be in the same universe as canon - it's always hard to achieve that when you're writing such a non-canon pairing. Thank you so much for your lovely comment. &hearts
