Dear onii-chan,
I haven't been able to find a tablet for you, so I figured I'd do the next best thing! Write you a letter! Though I do think of you, every night, and I send you a prayer before I go to bed, sometimes it's nice to get letters, isn't it?
I'm in a new place. It's a great big city, that doesn't have a name! I came here by accident, but guess what! Ishida-kun, Kurosaki-kun, Kuchiki-san, Abarai-san, Hirako-kun, Urahara-san-- they were all here as well! Isn't that strange? Kuchiki-san left a few days ago... I wish she hadn't. It made Kurosaki-kun really sad and I really couldn't do anything... And Tatsuki-chan isn't here either. But I met some really nice people! Maya-san, an officer who is letting me stay with her-- she has a waterfall and a beaver who lives in her house! Isn't it neat? I guess I forgot to mention, this place is a little different from Japan. For starters... there's a lot of magic here.
And, I heard that people from manga series are -real- here! I haven't met anyone that looks like they're from the manga I read, but I'll keep looking!
Onii-chan... before I came here... I was going to go away. From Kurosaki-kun, from everyone. After Urahara-san told me that I would only hold my friends back, I wanted to help them so badly... I really wanted to do something, and Kuchiki-san helped me believe in it.
I was so scared, onii-chan. Even after I trained, to be taken away... to be given a day for one goodbye...
But then I came here. And it made me wonder if somehow my prayer for my friends had been heard. From what they told me, they'd been here for a while, and there hadn't been any trouble for them. Most importantly, Kurosaki-kun was safe.
I'm still worried that something bad is going to happen, and it'll hurt them all. I did promise to go with that Arrancar, and Ichimaru-san said something that suggested he knew what was to come in the future for me.
I need your strength, oniichan. I want to help my friends, I want to be stronger for them, I want to do the right thing. I know I can if I try.
Today is my birthday... I'm going to make a cake for us, and for my friends. You'll be there too, right? It'll be like old times!
I hope they're treating you well, Onii-chan! And I hope everything works out for us. I believe it will!

I bet that'll impress him a little! Taking initiative is a good thing to do when looking for a job, right?
And for my recipe blog, today's recipe will be blueberry and pineapple cupcakes with pink sugar icing and more! Wish me luck, because it's a special day today and my friends deserve only the best! This is what I have so far!
